Focus your Internet marketing efforts and increase your income
One of the main reasons most people fail when trying to start an Internet marketing business is the lack of focus. The person starting out does not have much business experience, if any at all, and is pulled in multiple directions trying to figure out which way is up.
As new opportunities present themselves they bounce from one opportunity to another. This usually results in one thing, and that is failure.
The reason being is you never give one thing a chance to work. You’re so focused on making the big bucks quick that you never actually build a business.
This was my problem online when I first started. I was chasing around opportunity after opportunity like a puppy chasing his tail. I would look back at my month and could not figure out how the heck I did not make any money. I mean come on… I set up some adsense sites, I tried affiliate marketing, I tried building a list and I did article marketing, but none of it worked.
Well, my problem was I was not focused. That could be your problem too and the reason you’re not succeeding right now.
Here’s a small tip that can help you get focused right a way.
Take a strategy or technique to make money online and stick to it. Sounds easy I know, but is more difficult than you may think for some people.
This is how I did it. I actually wrote out the technique I would use and I wrote it out on a piece of paper. I then kept that piece of paper in plain sight when ever I was working. Whenever I felt like I was getting off task I would just look at that paper and ask myself if what I was doing helps accomplish that goal.
If the task did not help accomplish the goal I would simply quit doing what I was doing and move towards something that did. You’ll be amazed at how much that will help you succeed.
Added a White Board to the Business
So I’ve never actually went out and bought a white board. Well, today I actually went out and made the plunge.
I bought my very first white board. I must say it is pretty awesome.
I never knew the creativity that a white board could unleash.Once I actually got the thing up on the wall, and I started writing on the white board. It seemed like my creative juices just started flowing.
Before I knew I had the entire white board filled with ideas and strategies. I was absolutely amazed at what actually getting off the computer and using a different medium can actually do.
After a couple hours of playing, plotting and strategizing, I finally left my million-dollar blueprint and my goals up on the white board.
I actually want to turn the entire wall into a white board now. Do you know of any resources on how to get this done. Are there pains or do I need to get panels?

Uses the Jing Project to Capture Your Screen
So many people ask how I make the videos that I do with screen captures. Well, the answer is by using a program called Camtasia. Camtasia is a program that will record your screen while you perform tasks and can even record PowerPoint presentations.
I use this program, quite often to create products that have made me thousands. Although Camtasia comes with a 30 day trial most people are a little hesitant to take the plunge.
Well, there is great news. Techsmith the company that makes Camtasia has come out with a new product called Jing Project.
The Jing project is a hosted solution that cuts out quite a bit of the options, but still allows you to make the screen recording videos.
The video seems to be of high quality, but the audio seems to be diminished a little bit, but that’s give or take a guess.

Three-Day 60 Mile Breast Cancer Awareness Walk
Hello and welcome to the blog. Today I’d like to talk something that is very close to my heart. Last year I lost our father of lung cancer and have been devastated every sense
You see my father was only 49 years old when he passed away of lung cancer. In my opinion it is way too young for anybody. Well, today I ran across a post in the Warrior Forum I spoke about a woman who is raising money for a three-day 60 mile breast cancer awareness walk.
I think that is totally awesome that people are out there sledding and walking and raising money to help cure a terrible disease. Anyway my point is, I made a low contribution, and would like to help get the word out about this charitable walk
I made a quick video talking about it and have also put the link underneath the video. I also have copy and pasted a poem my wife put together on a plaque after my father passed away.

Building a list a great way to really skyrocket your profits in your business. But is it the best way? Well the answer is actually yes and no and let me tell you why.
You see building a list of freebie seekers is good, but is not the best list to have. The best list to have is an actual list of buyers.
In general, a targeted list of proven buyers will most likely always outpoll a list built giving something away. They might think building a list of buyers is a bit difficult, but in reality it is not.

Right when you want to quit
When you starting your business it seems as if every hurdle possible is thrown at you. Around every turn a new obstacle. Sometimes you bash right through and never look back.
Other times it seems as if all your hard work has paid off and you are on the final stretch and you are going to come in first.
It is in these times when you are so close and it seems like you are given a challenge that you can not overcome, that you need to rise up and refuse to quit. It is right then that you have the choice to either lie there in defeat, or choose to rise up and finish.

Post launch profits secrets review
So Alex Jeffreys just launched his new product Post-Launch Profits Secrets. I just finished reviewing the product and I must say that it is very good. Alex really knows his stuff and lays out some really good information.
The best part about this package is you can get it for free. Now when you think Afridi usually think of something that kind of sucks. Well, I have news for you this thing freaking rocks.
First of all, it is a full transcribed PDF and audio that you get for free. Of course there is an upgrade version and I actually have reviewed the upgrade version as well and is even better than the paid version. I guess that is to be expected though.
Anyway, Alex not only shows you how to make money, but he shows you how to make consistent money that’s what I liked about this course. It is easy to get caught up in a fast money and only want to make big Money fast. But you need to look at consistency. Really that’s where the true big money is.
Desolated this product a thumbs up and suggest you go check it out. After all it’s free the only thing it will cost you is your name and e-mail address. I know this is a quick review of Post-Launch Profits Secrets but in all reality there is really no risk to check this product out because it is free.
I would suggest you download the MP3 and pop it in your iPod or MP3 player and listen to it while you’re taking a walk or jog.

Google has released what is being refereed to as the Wikipedia killer. It is called Knol. This is going to be interesting to watch actually. How will Google rank these pages. You would have to imagine that they will be given a little extra boost considering they are a part of Google.

Building a list with your blog
List building is often over looked by most marketers, but is an essential element of a successful business. Many bloggers will tell you that they are making plenty of money from there blog without building an opt-in list, but they are really leaving a ton of money on the table.
I like to look at a list as not only an asset, but also a traffic generation tool.
You can literally send a flood of traffic to any site you choose once you build a big enough list. That is power.
So, today I want to give you a few tips on how you can utilize your blog to build an opt-in list.
First, lets talk about how to get the opt in. You can “bride” the prospect for there information. Basically, what that means is you will give something away to the visitor in exchange for there information.
This is my favorite way to build my list on my blog. I give away a free report that is packed with content, so the “bribe” is well worth the information the visitor has to give.
Next is placement. You need to place your opt-in box above the fold. That means the visitor should see your opt-in box without needing to scroll down the page.
Placement is one of the most important aspects to archiving a high conversion rate. If you go below the fold you are going to absolutely destroy your conversions. If you place the opt-in box above your conversions will increase. Now, I want to give you a little secret that will absolutely explode your opt-in rate. O.K, this is big, so do not discredit the information because it is free.
Put your opt-in box on the top right hand side of your blog. This will just explode your conversions.

Finding The Right Autoresponder
Hello and welcome to the blog. This is going to be a series of blog posts regarding how to build an opt in list. We are going to start with the basics so if you are a more advanced user hold your horses, because we will soon be getting to what you need to know.
The first thing every marketer needs to do is build an opt in list. This sounds intimidating to most new marketers, but it really does not need to be that way. You see building a list is fairly simple if you know what you are doing. There are a few key things you need to know before you start.
The first and most important in my opinion is selecting the service you are going to use to house your auto responder. There are many different services out there, but need to choose a reliable service that will fit both your needs and your budget.
Most new marketers try to find a free auto responder, but in my opinion, that is one of the worst things you can ever do. You see your list will be your money maker in the end. If you do not have a list is very hard to sustain your income. You will continually need to buy traffic or generate new traffic to keep the money coming in.
When you build a list you in essence build an instant traffic stream. You see what happens is if you ever need any traffic to a website once you have that list built, you can send an e-mail and you will instantly send traffic to your website.
So when it comes to choosing the service that you will use you must make the right decision making me cheaper decision is not always the right decision in this instance. But in most cases, starting out all order responders are very affordable. I’m going to give you my recommendations and also show you the service I use. Which way you go is up to you.
The service I use is Aweber. Aweber is one of the most respected autoresponder services in the industry. That alone should be enough for you to choose the service, but I’ll also give you the pros and cons and also show you a few other choices.
Aweber in my opinion is the most reliable service and will always get your e-mails through most of the time. That is probably one of the biggest things you need to look at when you are choosing an autoresponder service. If your e-mails do not get through your message does not get through. So that is very important.
Also Aweber has an unbelievable statistical system, they can pretty much show you anything when it comes to your e-mails. That is very important once your list starts to get bigger.
The reason being is once you have a big list it is a lot harder to get people to open up your e-mails and clicks through to where you want them to go. When you’re armed with information on who opened and who click to your links you are able to actually target those different users. This makes your e-mail marketing campaigns a lot more profitable.
Those are just a few reasons why I actually use Aweber. The list goes on and on but I would suggest you check out Aweber yourself to see how awesome it actually is.
My number two choice would probably be Get Response. Get Response is always at a close second behind Aweber in this industry. Right now, new marketers are leaning more towards Get Response the reason being is, it is a little cheaper starting out. Now, although it is cheaper, I still feel Aweber has better deliverability and is overall a better choice when it comes to your auto responder needs. But that decision is ultimately going to be up to you Get Response is an awesome company.
When I first started marketing on the Internet, this is the actual autoresponder service that I used. When I started getting serious about my business I actually switched Aweber.
OneShoppingCart is a great autoresponder but is more like an all-around solution. The reason being is they do not strictly focus on auto responder services. They are also a shopping cart and affiliate program rolled into one. Now the prices much higher, but the service is more in depth you will be getting a lot more.
Although that may sound tempting the reason I do not like that solution is I rather have my e-mails going through a company that is dedicated to only sending e-mails. This way, I know that their number one priority is delivering e-mail. Although I think OneShoppingCart is a great company. I believe it should not be used for your main marketing lists.
So, that is it for this post first step in and building a list is selecting your offer responder service. In my opinion, I would go with Aweber all the way.
