One of the key components to starting online is to keep yourself away from being overwhelmed.
There is so much information available on the web that it is very easy to get overwhelmed.
I call this information paralysis. The reason I call it information paralysis is when people get so overloaded with information that they are paralyzed.
They do not act because they do not know what to implement. They have so many different strategies in their head that they don’t know which way to go.
This leads to procrastination, and ultimately a failing business.
Then, unfortunately people will blame Internet marketing strategies because they did not succeed.
When in fact the only person to blame is information overload.
That was one of my main problems when I first started online. I had so many different ideas I did not know which way to go. I would start on one project and then jump to another, I would then jump to another, and then another.
Every product launch that came out I bought. I was jumping from fad to fad. Getting nowhere fast.
So, I’m talking about this from experience. It is very easy to get caught up in the launches and get sidetracked. But, you need to try to stay away from information overload.
Do your research, find a system that you believe will work and stick to it.
Don’t jump from strategy from strategy. Just stick to one strategy and see it through. That is the best way.
