This is an Automatic Blog review. Today I would like to talk about the plug-in I’m currently using to help me automate the process of posting quality content to my blog.
Actually, it does not help me automate it, it does all the work for me. It is a truly set and forget system.
This is something I have been looking for for a long time. I’ve never really found a plug-in that actually works the way I would like it to work. This one is the closest thing I have found that fits my needs.
So, this plug-in is called Automatic Blog. Automatic blog is a plug-in that will allow you to automatically post high-quality 300+ word articles to your blog on autopilot. It is super simple to set up, and once you have it set up you can simply set it and forget it.
I know that may sound crazy, but it is actually true. You can actually set and forget a blog and have quality content posted to it each and every day or more if you choose.
Here’s how it works…
You simply upload and install the plug-in. If you know how easy it is to install WordPress plug-ins, you know that this is a breeze.
Next you choose how many articles you would like the plug-in to post at a time.
Next, you select which category you would like the plug-in to draw the articles from. The great thing about this, is that there is a vast selection of categories and subcategories to choose from. I have been hard pressed to find a niche that is not covered within the categories you can choose from.
After that, you select the category on your blog you would like the articles to be posted to.
Then, you can turn on or off a keyword filter. This makes the plug-in very awesome. Now, you really are not limited by the categories that you can choose from. You can choose a generalized category for your niche, and then niche it down even further with keywords.
This is a fantastic feature of the plug-in. This really takes all the limitations off of what niches you can go after. Plus, from my experience the keyword filtering does a fantastic job. I have yet to receive untargeted articles to my blogs. So, that is a very good thing.
When it comes to dealing with automation, your first goal is to make it look as humanized as possible. This next step in the process of setting up Automatic Blog does just that.
You can choose a time range you like the plug-in to post. So, you can set this up to be as humanized as possible. Then, it will randomly draw from that range to make the posts.
Here’s an example…
You set the time range between 12 and 24 hours. So, the plug-in will then post one article at a random time in between 12 and 24 hours. Then, it will randomly another article in between 12 and 24 hours.
So, here is what it could look like…
The first article is posted. Then, the plug-in selects a time to post the second article, which is 18 hours from now. Once that article is posted the plug-in selects another time, and that time is 16 hours and 32 minute2. Then, the next articles posted 13 hours and 15 minutes from the previous. And so on and so forth.
This makes your blog look very human and natural. It is a very nice touch.
Okay, so that is all the pros. I really think that they plug-in is very solid. But, I do have a couple of areas that I would improve on if I could.
The first is you can only post one category. Ideally, I would like to see the plug-in be updated to where you can post in multiple categories, using multiple keywords.
For example, if you had a dog training site you could do something like this…
Having a category for teaching your dog how to quit barking. You could then use the keyword filter to only post articles with the keyword how to train your dog to quit barking.
Then you could have a category for how to potty train your dog. And then you could have a category for how to train your dog to not bite. And so on and so forth.
Well, I’m sitting here trying to find another flaw, and I really cannot think of one at this time. It is a very well-rounded plug-in, and it works really well.
If you are currently trying to build, or are building a blog empire this plug-in is a must. Now, with anything, you cannot just use this plug-in. You do need unique content, you do need to put some work into the blog to make it profitable. But, this makes it super simple to make sure that your blogs are always being updated with quality content.
That is what is most important. Quality content. It does not all have to be completely unique content. This simply adds an extra tool in your arsenal to work with.
