If no one can read what you have to say then no one is going to buy what you want them to buy, or no one is going to click on any of your links. So me, my wife, my dad, my mom, my sister, and my son all had homemade costumes. We were we were superheroes. Our family business is a dance boutique, so getting all the tights and all that fun stuff was pretty easy.

Anyway, this year my son is going to be lightning McQueen and we are going to be his pick crew. My wife spent a ton of time putting this costume together. It was probably the most challenging costume she has built to date. I’m actually very proud of the way it has turned out.

Managing multiple blogs can really be a pain in the rear end. Not only do you have to manage content, the logins, the maintenance, but you also have to bounce around from site to site trying to get everything done. Sometimes it feels like there is just not enough time in the day to get it all done.

Let’s take a look at just a few of the things we manage on our blog. First we need to manage the blog content, next we need to manage the traffic that the blog gets. Your blog works like a well oiled machine, you create the content and the traffic comes in. Well, the traffic will trickle in most of the time. But, if you want a super successful blog you will definitely need to do some traffic generating tasks.

I would say it’s safe to say that every blogger is interested in generating more traffic right? So, let’s talk about those two things and how we can manage them on multiple blogs.

1. Content

Content, obviously, is the lifeblood of a blog. Without it you have nothing. So, it is safe to say that we all want killer content on our blog. But, where do we find the time to write it, and if we don’t want to write it where can we find good quality content. These are all questions that linger in our minds as the owner of blogs. We are continually writing and looking for great content.

At times it even gets monotonous and boring. But, if we want to maintain a great blog these are just things we need to do. I’m wondering how can I do this bette?. As an owner of multiple blogs they can really become time consuming when you are locked down writing and generating new content. I started writing blogs and doing niche marketing so I could spend time with my family, not right and generate content.

So, out of necessity I went out looking for ways I could easily generate content. Well, I found a solution. But, we will get into that in a sec…

2. Traffic

Traffic is also essential for your blog. It makes no sense to speak your mind when it will not be heard. I’m going to assume that everybody wants traffic to their blogs. If you don’t want traffic to your blog, then you really don’t need to read this article.. But, if you want your opinions and voice to be heard you need traffic.

So, how do we get traffic? It starts with good content. We already discussed that a little bit in the prior paragraph’s, so there’s no need to go into more detail here.

But, there are other ways to get traffic as well. Here are a few ideas…

Social bookmarking

Social bookmarking is a new craze and it can drive an absolute boatload of traffic to your sites. But, when you are managing multiple blogs this can become extremely time-consuming. If it is going to take all day, then in my opinion it is just not worth it. Because it takes all day to bookmark your multiple posts, what’s the point.

This a great way to get traffic, but unfortunately is very time-consuming unless you figure out a way to automate it. I have actually found a way to do that. But, more on that in a sec…

RSS submission

Submitting your RSS feeds can be very beneficial, but again is very time consuming. Is not that bad when you only have one blog. When you have multiple niche blogs, and are running a blog empire it can very easily take up way too much of your time.

You need to be focusing on more important tasks. Sitting behind a computer and submitting your RSS feed is not the best use of your time. But, it is worth it if you can find a way to automate it.

Imagine going to every RSS directory and submitting each of your blog’s RSS feeds. Wow, that would take a bunch of time. Now, you can find tools that will actually submit your RSS feeds for you, but most of them are only semi-automated and still take up some of your precious time. So, I was actually looking for a set and forget solution, where I could just enter my RSS feed, click a button and walk away.

Yahoo answers

Have you ever heard of Yahoo answers? It is a great place to get a couple incoming links to your blog, and also grab a bunch of traffic. Very targeted traffic too.

Yahoo answers is basically a place where people go and ask questions. You can then go and answer those questions and leave a link to your site. The traffic obviously is very targeted, because you are answering specific questions. So, this is very lucrative when it comes to traffic.

But as you can imagine with multiple blogs it is very hard to just go out there, sit down and start answering questions. So, what do you do. Well, I went out and found a way to help me do that. As you can see, I am very big on finding ways to make my life easier and get my work done faster. The less time I spend working, the more time I spend with my family, and that was the goal from the start.

Then the video should be passed along to other people through various methods. This method can be through email, your company website, advertisement links, or even YouTube.

The benefits of viral videos are two-fold. First, the video is something that is so clever most people will remember exactly what brand or business it represented. Second, the video is spread quickly and is aimed to reach as many people as possible, peaking interest.

Sometimes, these viral videos create celebrities in unlikely places.

Not trusting their instincts.  You know what you need to do, but yet you sit and ponder on whether it is the right thing to do.  So, you go out and buy yet another ebook or another home study course just to make sure you know what you are doing.

Then, when you finally take action you need to stop and go and consult the 10 home study courses just to make sure you are implementing every single strategy into one site.  You then overload yourself and end up giving up because it is just way too hard.

Well, I guess you could say the secret is… you are making making money way too hard!

Most people search for the secret and buy the latest and greatest product that is released every week in that search.  There is no need.  If you have been on the Internet for any amount of time and have been studying Internet marketing you most likely know what to do.

I was once like this, I was scared to death to take action.  I do not know if it was I was scared of success or just scared of failure.  Either way, I just did nothing.  I would sit in front of my computer screen and pretend to be working.  In reality I was doing nothing.  Well, I guess I got really good at all the technical stuff.  Anyway, the point I’m trying to make is you must take action on what you learned.

If you never take action on what you learn, you will never get anywhere.  You need motion to achieve anything.  So just get started on anything at all.  It doesn’t matter if it is the right thing or the wrong thing, just start.
