How to Record a PowerPoint Presentation

I was browsing a popular marketing form today and I ran across a question that peaked my interest. Here is why it peaked my interest… I really assumed that the question was common knowledge. Meaning, I thought that everyone just knew how this particular technique was done. I am sure you know how the old saying goes… when you assume, it makes makes an a$$ out of u and me :-)

The question was how did Ryan Deiss create the PowerPoint slide presentation and get it on video? So, basically the person asking the question wanted to know how to record a PowerPoint video presentation.

So, I decided to go ahead and record a video and reveal exactly how myself and many other marketers record PowerPoint presentations. Check it out below…

I hope you enjoyed that quick little rundown. If you’d like to add anything to this blog post please place your comment below. I would love to have your input.

    Hey Shanon

Great video…simple and to the point…
    (no pun intended)
Would open office work just as
    well with Camtasia…??

yes it is just as easy. The only difference is there is not a built-in add on for open office. You just need to open up the PowerPoint presentation and then start recording Camtasia over the screen.
