When Is It Time to Hire Employees?

So, I’m struggling with the question right now of when should I hire employees? The reason why the question has been popping up in my mind is because I have grown to a point where it is pretty much unbearable to run this business as a one-man show.

I’m doing so many things I’m starting to cut corners and not doing important things that need to be done. So, I think it’s about time that I hire some employees. But, I do not think that one employee will help me that much. So, I think I am in a situation that I’m going to need it to hire at least two people. The first being a content writer, and the second being a webmaster.

If I can find a good fit for the two positions I think that will really cut down my workload and allow me to be more productive in the areas I need to be productive in. But, as in anything in businesses, it is a scary step.

You want to make sure that you’re going to recoup your investment that you make on these employees.

What do you think? Do you have any employees? If so how long did it take before you finally hired those employees?

I would love to hear your feedback on the situation. It is a big step, and a step I have not taken yet, but a step I feel I need to take.

So, any input that you could give would be much appreciated. Even if you have no clue on hiring employees or never want to hire employees, I still want to hear your opinion :-)
